PETITS PLIS
JEWELS IN ORIGAMI
"A square paper
Some small folds
And a caress of varnish"
The jewels " Petits Plis" are single parts created with love by Veronique WARDEGA, in her Parisien workshop, starting from the tradition of origami (from oru : to fold and from kami : paper).
According to certain historians, foldings would have been born in China, as of invention of paper, in the IIth century.
Then in Japan, the Shintoïstes monks would have improved the art of folding starting from VIth century.
